So awesome to see my original team FINALLY win the Cup. I waited half a century for this. I still can't believe it's real.

This story should be made into a movie. Rookie coach and rookie goalie lead team in five months from last place to first league championship in five decades...winning Game 7 in a city where every sports team is the champion, incl. recently the hockey team...we can only hope the low-class people of that historic city don't decide to destroy it for the rest in the usual riot...the soul-crushing loss at home in Game 6 that made the eventual decisive win seem even more fantastically unlikely...the dashed dreams of spoiled spendthrifts who shelled out $3-5k each for tickets, only to watch their side get utterly frustrated by the greatest display of goaltending prowess in recent memory. Binnington deserves a medal—Stanley Cup ring will suffice LOL. He held the Bruins scoreless for 57-plus minutes, giving St. Louis a chance to work their magic in the O-zone.

THAT is how you show up in the postseason....you don't dance out onto the ice smiling, thinking you got this, and leave your game in your locker.

I finally watched nearly a whole complete playoff game since the Lightning's historic collapse. Because....Game 7. And it was worth it to see the tears of Chowd Nation flow into the Charles River.

OK, it's over. Time for the post season action to begin. JBB, start your engines, let's go

All is not right with the world, but Boston losing is a step in the right direction. Congrats to the Blues. Hell of a job. Hell of a story.

Congratulations to the St. Louis Blues!
They were absolutely unrelenting and tenacious with timely scoring and clutch saves when they needed it. Shows what chemistry does for a team.

Glad for their fans to see the Blues finally bring home a cup.

I wonder if we will see a picture of the triplets in the cup?

Got to watch with a bunch of friends from St. Louis. I'm happy for them.

I guess we can blame Bergeron because he must not have had a great locker room speech last night.

Rask only played the condensed game.

Gold. Although since Chara is the Captain, he was unable to give a speech with his jaw broken. That's likely why they lost.

A buddy of mine back in Tampa is from Boston, and he admitted he was pulling for the Blues. He called many of the B's fans "Massholes".

Massholes...just great. I watched also and loved seeing the empty seats with 5 minutes left in the game, and to hear the talking heads comment on the empty seats...fair weather fans...you did not see that here.
