They will announce it when they can get maximum coverage.

My complaint has more to do with the "Hey, what about this obscure Congresswoman?" phenomenon than the timing. We're starting to get into silly season, IMO, and I really hope that Biden's people aren't seriously considering straying so far off menu under the circumstances.

MorningConsult Poll:

Colorado:
Biden +13

Virginia:
Biden +10

Michigan:
Biden +10

Arizona:
Biden +7

Pennsylvania:
Biden +7

Wisconsin:
Biden +7

Florida:
Biden +3

Minnesota:
Biden +3

Texas:
Biden +2

Georgia:
Biden +1

North Carolina:
Tied

Ohio:
Trump +3
I can buy all of that except the Minnesota number. I have a really hard time understanding the universe where Biden can be doing worse in Minnesota than Wisconsin (or Arizona, for that matter).

The Morning Consult polls also showed Democrats with solid leads in the Arizona, Colorado, and North Carolina Senate races and competitive for the regular election seat in Georgia.

For the sake of completeness, I'd like to see someone poll Nevada and New Hampshire soon. Nevada, in particular, needs a poll. New Hampshire I'm less uncomfortable with because I imagine if you've got Biden with a huge lead in Maine, which has been polled recently, New Hampshire isn't going to be going wildly in the opposite direction.

For the folks who thought Trump was becoming Presidential, he tweets out a copy of a video with people in lab coats who claim to be “front line doctors”. One of the “doctors states that hydroxychloroquine is a cure for the virus and that there is no benefit to wearing a mask.

But Biden is the crazy one.

Or in response to an egregious Presidential tweet targeting the disabled. What’s the cover/under on that.

Here's a lil' article on one of the said "doctors".

Quote:
Before Trump and his supporters embrace Immanuel’s medical expertise, though, they should consider other medical claims Immanuel has made—including those about alien DNA and the physical effects of having sex with witches and demons in your dreams.

Immanuel, a pediatrician and a religious minister, has a history of making bizarre claims about medical topics and other issues. She has often claimed that gynecological problems like cysts and endometriosis are in fact caused by people having sex in their dreams with demons and witches.

She alleges alien DNA is currently used in medical treatments, and that scientists are cooking up a vaccine to prevent people from being religious. And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens.

It wouldn't take a ton of ticket splitting for Bullock or Gross to pull off the Senate seats in Montana or Alaska if the margin in those states is mid to low single digits.

His tweet today that people don’t need masks because there is a cure is going to directly kill people

Twitter censored the post he re-Tweeted and put Don Jr. on Twitter probation for amplifying it, but the damage is already done among his cult. They were already feverishly going bonkers with tin foil conspiracy theories after Twitter banned the QAnon garbage, so this just feeds right into it. What little chance the MAGA crowd was going to ever wear masks and follow public health officials is now officially shot to hell.

Politically, Trump just shot himself in the foot (again) by doing it, but that'll be small solace for the 50,000 to 100,000 more who'll be pushing up daisies by Election Day.
