4 Euros for a cheeseburger in a can!!! That's like 6 US dollars! At least a pizza in Italy was 2.5 Euros.

Three guesses as to what I'm doing in the above photo...

This had me rolling! I think that everytime I see that picture. You should've seen how the guy dressed!

Anyhow here is what it is in a nut shell, from wiki:

Quote:
The ceremony of Crossing the Line is an initiation rite in the Royal Navy, U.S. Navy, and other navies which commemorates a sailor's first crossing of the equator. Originally the tradition was created as a test for seasoned sailors to ensure their new shipmates were capable of handling long rough times at sea. Sailors who have already crossed the equator are nicknamed (Trusty) Shellbacks, often referred to as Sons of Neptune; those who have not are nicknamed (Slimy) Pollywogs.
I was a Pollywog. They dunk me in the tank of breakfast leftovers and I'm transformed into a "shellback."

Here's some videos of what it's like. Some consider it a form of hazing, but when it's done right it's nothing but fun really. Just a little bit of pain included!

Impressive and commendable, yet disgusting.
