Trump may have won the debate. The number saying they wonít vote increased overnight.

I don't understand what they saw that would have been found positive for them. A couple thoughts on that poll, it was probably a small sample size, 66/34 reeks of that. Also, I'd guess that very few younger people watched that debate and Trump's support with older Hispanics is stronger.

Yeah, I'd like to see an age and heritage breakdown of the Hispanics polled. If they went heavy on older Cubans then that would explain that insane gap.

A clarification on the Telemundo poll. It was Spanish speaking hispanics.

They would have received a translation of the debate without the interruptions and would skew elderly.

The Telemundo poll also was not a randomized, scientific sample.

Harry Enten's reaction:

Quote:
I find it hilarious that some "outlets" still pass around non-scientific vote as many times as you want online polls as something scientific. Are you KIDDING ME?

Evidently that Telemundo poll might've been a Twitter poll? If so, oh my goodness why is anyone taking that seriously?

BTW, all the other snap polls of the debate (which were randomized, scientific samples) were very much in Biden's favor:

Quote:
Who won tonight's debate?

Biden 60% (+32)
Trump 28%

Trump 41%

Which leads Harry Enten to post:

Quote:
Morning after and it's still stunning... and there still isn't a piece of data out there suggesting what occurred last night helped Trump at all. And remember, he was losing by 7 going in...
https://twitter.com/ForecasterEnten/...552207873?s=20

To the degree the debate "helped" Trump, as Donnie said it might've depressed turnout and Biden had trouble looking presidential the whole way through because he A.) never got to speak with Trump constantly interrupting or hijacking time, and B.) ultimately had to tell Trump to STFU and stop acting like a clown.

Schwing.

Quote:
"Union households in Ohio now favor Biden by eight points, 52 to 44 percent. In 2016, Trump carried that same constituency by 13 points, 54 to 41 percent, according to exit polling. Thatís a whopping 21-point turnaround."

And that's how you kick the shit out of Trump in the Rust Belt.

The Democratic base is lit. Or, at least the educated white collar liberal Democratic base with the deeper pockets is lit. Get ready for the suburbs to be the killing fields (again), GOP.

Next time he gets interrupted he should say something like "You know why he keeps interrupting? Because he doesn't trust you the American people to think for yourselves."
