To be fair to Dubnyk, he has about 70 more games in the NHL than Lindback, behind a much worse team, and his stats continued to improve each year.
That being said, I think they both got fair deals. Not only is Lindback going to get the chance to prove himself, but Dubnyk is 26 I believe, and would have been an UFA at the end of the 12-13 season, so they paid a little more to buy those UFA years from him, and see if he can continue to improve.

good deal for us and for him. he can proove himself and he didn't make a long-term committment.
