They don't believe in having any social safety nets. Will someone please just tell America that simple truth so we can all move on with our lives?

Republicans. Don't. Believe. In. Social. Safety. Nets.

If they weren't scared shitless of the voters, they'd get rid of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security TOMORROW. Happily. Democrats and the media let Republicans off light by refusing to call them on that inconvenient truth about modern conservatism. Their disdain for social safety nets is barely concealed in plain view by this asinine refusal of anyone else to point at the gigantic elephant taking a colossal steaming dump in the middle of the room.

I saw that about the insurance, that was wild.

Hold up now, Donnie...

You're telling me the one and possibly only time a post in this thread involves a story in the country of Kazakhstan and Waiver DIDN'T get a story confirmed by the uber-prestigious Kazakhstan Union of Journalists?

What is this world coming to?

I don't think anyone from either party would begrudge a good faith attempt to reset relations with a world superpower like Russia in an attempt to avoid another Cold War or World War 3.

That does not mean, however, it's a sentiment equitable to rolling over and letting Big Vladdy run roughshod over you and the hallowed democratic process of your entire country because of reasons including but not limited to kompromat or blind, naked greed.

Saint Ronnie is rolling in his grave.

Fact is Russia is a gas station with a military. NOT an economic power.

We should be fighting wars with satellites and drones now, not putting people on the ground to die. Most classic military materials spending is throwing money after obsolete tech in order to feed the Military/Industrial Complex.

I read they were surveilling Russian mobsters, who owned office space at Trump Tower.

Money-laundering, which I think has been Trump's bread-and-butter since the turn of the century. Once he blew his US credit, he sold out to foreign partners (Germany, China, and Russia) and became a conduit for shady foreign money to be washed in US real estate deals.

It's very sad that the reason the majority of R's who are voting 'no' are doing it because it doesn't take enough away from the poor. Immoral bastards.

That's a shitty analogy. There shouldn't be 'goalies' stopping 'shots' from going in in our elections. The fact that the outrageously gerrymandered districts, voter suppression, and unfair influence of the rural states with the electoral vote are stopping the popular vote from being obeyed in a supposed Democracy is sickening.

"Compassionate" Freedom Caucus.

"But Freedom Caucus members have asked to eliminate more including language that bars companies from setting insurance rates based on a person's sex, medical condition, genetic condition or other factors. Their proposal would reverse the ban on lifetime or annual dollar limits on coverage, allow insurers to separate healthy and sick consumers into different risk pools, and undo the law's requirement that large insurers spend at least 85 percent of what they collect in premiums on claims, and refund the rest."

Free to die on the street while the wealthy rack in more.
