If they are just changing the colors of the seats on the club level and suites that's great. For instance, the blue in the All Star Team Lidstrom uniforms IMO is not as pleasing as the current "Lightning blue".
I agree, and I believe the HVAC system's inefficient operation has caused rusting in all levels of seating, meaning they're replacing ALL the seats. I like the seat color to match the team colors, for sure, or at least be close. If they go a little darker blue it's not a big deal to me, but then again I like almost any shade of blue. Except I don't need to see the Duke/Johns Hopkins/UNC powder blue out there...and the Don Cherryesque "Brian Bradley blue" of the new ATL jersey is for the birds (pun intended)

Other than the Uni's...

I remember reading an article awhile back that the 2 and 1/2 Dicks regime let alot of the everyday maintenance and upkeeps fall into such disarray that no doubt Mr. Vinik is expeditiously getting it brought up to snuff.

Plus... it's a solid overature to not only us fans and patrons of the Forum, but to the County Commission as well with this story I read the other day.

SPTimes

Oh, and Mr. Vinik (regarding the pipe organ)... to spare you the process of dealing with the Tampa Bay area Craigslist idiots, please give this guy a call or email. Love to see this bad-boy find a home in the Forum.

I guess I need to go out and pick one up before they go away...

So question... is it too geeky to get a jersey with your name (your REAL name, not "Your Name") on it or it is more accepted to order one with a actual player's name and number on it...

Discuss...

You know Jester, it's your money. Do with it what you wish. Who cares what anyone thinks.

Agree with Coldrice.

But if you get a player, who then moves on you may feel you have to replace it.

Bottom line it is your choice.

Found this very interesting.

From the Tampa Tribune:

Quote:
The rapid ascension into the league's top teams has made for an unexpected turnaround, but it hasn't changed the long-term outlook Vinik has for the organization. Many of those plans will be unveiled in the next few days during three successive scheduled news conferences starting Monday.
1. Uniforms
2. Building
3. Someones new contract ???

That would be awesome, if Stammer had a nice, affordable long term deal to sign.
