I'm rooting for Team Meteor. There aren't two more loathsome fanbases in all of sports.

Thugs in the NFL...its getting old, fast.
You rarely hear about this type of incident in the NHL.

Since moving to Maine, and listening to Big Jab talk radio out of Portland, I at least get the attitude concerning the Patriots.
Unlike Bucs fans, the Patriots fans expect the Patriots not only to make, but to win, the Superbowl each season.
It is a way different mindset than of Bucs fans who first look for the team win enough games to make the playoffs, then see how it goes from there.

You can call it loathsome, but I think its the work ethic the Pats put in as an organization that has been unmatched in the league and makes them successful, much to the ire of other teams fans.

All good for me as I still get to root for the NFC Bucs and AFC Pats.

Concerning the Eagles, I would be very concerned for my safety if I was to wear any jersey except Eagles gear in their stadium. That said, I am liking the stories coming out about Trey Burton (out of Venice) and the other Christians on the team including the coach. Hopefully some of that trickles down to the fans.

I was more talking about Massholes in general. I lived in New England for over a decade. There are very few things in sports that make me happier than watching the Patriots lose, because the smug Pats fans get to eat shit over it. For this reason, Eli Manning will always hold a special place in my heart.

Philly is just filled with assholes. If you razz a guy about his recently deceased son, because he's wearing a different colored shirt than your teams' players, you're an asshole.

I was in Colorado for the Super Bowl and ended up watching it a brewery. There was a hardcore Eagles fan there(I'm a Cowboys fan) and as much as I hate the Eagles I couldn't help but be happy for the dude after everything
