My issue right now is we are entering Year 3 with Sergachev and we have no idea what side he is even going to play. I actually liked him more often than not when he was with Hedman last year But for whatever reason, we decided getting Rutta into the lineup was the most important thing we could do for the playoffs and completely sent the idea of Serg on the right side into a spin.

As someone who hasn't had the opportunity to see Foote in Syracuse, I have no idea where he is at and if he is ready for even the jump to the NHL let alone a top pair assignment. That said, the one nice thing is if he is paired with Hedman, he at least won't be relied on too often to deal with the top players in the league (I'm sure that will fall to our "2nd" pair).

One would hope that the “We” does not include Lightning management.
