As I explained a Marshall plan isn't necessary as North Korea isn't trying to expand its territory or sphere of influence. Their only clear motivation is self preservation, similar to Israel or Pakistan. Well okay that and reunification which isn't happening as long as South Koreans embrace democracy. What can we do besides stay the course, keep them contained, and encourage more normal behavior?

What do we do. We build a missile defense system like no other. We also build and supply our military with the best equipment as possible.

Yeah, the US's bar there is $1.6T in 2015. It's more now.

Green New Deal, Infrastructure work projects, and increasing EITC would be nice as well. Wanna stimulate the economy and help the people as a whole? Try those things along with some form of Medicare for all.

Of course, the political party in power is not interested in helping the people as a whole. The political party that isn't in power is only slightly interested in helping the people as a whole. Mainly they both want to help the same entities and rich people.

We are a nation built on funding the MIC. Sad.

The NY Times is reporting Mueller's team has informed Manafort they will indict him.

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/09/1...CW5yfbvX?amp=1

Seth Abramson thinks the indictment will likely come down within 15-60 days, but the message is being sent in DC now: cut a deal with Mueller and repent before all the deals are gone.
