With audio of Wilson basically saying if that was him delivering the same hit to Stralman he would get 5 games because of his history. From the angle I saw, it was shoulder to shoulder, Stralman got a boarding penalty which he deserved, but supplemental discipline?? Stralman is one of the more peaceful players in the game, a Lady Byng candidate if he wasn't a D man, with zero history of being a dirty player.

I also think Sergachev is becoming a man before our eyes and that he will be a beast for us for many years. He is not intimidated by anyone and dishes out more than he gets.
Funny you mention Sergachev - Pierre was saying "I can't believe Cooper put a young D-man out there for the late power play, I'll have to ask him about that. I would never do that." Really, Pierre - maybe that's why you aren't a head coach in the NHL! I can't believe these announcers second guessing the coaches!

Wonder how many games to the coaches and medical staff for not putting him the concussion protocol if it was that bad a hit to the head?

Exactly. Dude milked the shit out of it. Head never hit the glass and he didn't take a huge blow directly from Stralman's arm either.

We don't need Tom Wilson telling us what's a good hit and what isn't.

That was exactly the game they needed. All the guys who needed to step up did so. Our best players were our best players.

Nice adjustment by Coop to shuffle the wings on the top 3 lines. If the change of scenery onto the third line for Miller can wake Miller and Killorn up, well, that would be just peachy.

And the NHL announced they will not review the play.

So you know he will see how far he can push that next game - he will be headhunting for sure!
