That rule doesn't apply in that situation because it was a 50/50 puck. Had TJ controlled it and been trying to stickhandle by/power by McAvoy and McAvoy got puck, but tripped TJ, then that rule would apply. Diving for a 50/50 puck and incidentally tripping another player is not a penalty.

I rewatched the McD board on Marchand that resulted in their 5 on 3 which let them back in the game. The downlow official was literally 6' away from Marchand when it happened. He didn't even flinch to make a call. He found the play to be completely clean. It was the official 55' away that made that call. If you watch it again, Marchand clearly embellishes it to get the call. It wasn't a board as the distance between Marchand and the boards was <1'. It was not nearly as dangerous as Marchand made it look by grabbing his head and flopping.

Roenick just called the Stralman play on Marchand the biggest missed call of the playoffs. Get the fuck out of here with that.
Brad Marchand bit a linesman on the arm last night and got away with it.

Mic drop.

Your post made TSN, Pete, and it looks like many people noticed the nibble.
Fans call out Brad Marchand for incident involving linesman in Game 2

Great, they show it on TSN, congrats Pete, but what happens to Mr. Courageous now? Will the linesmen wear special pads to prevent further oral attacks or will Pierre offer to let Brad bite him whenever he wants?...Inquiring minds want to know.

Pete I am happy they posted your comment and the video. I actually called WDAE to tell them about it and they said they never saw it and hung up on me. So Props to you.

Yeah, worse than usual all-around. Both teams both benefited and suffered because of the refs.

I think my favorite part was them going on about what a 'heady' play it was for a BOS player because he was yelling at his bench that they were short a man and needed a right winger.

I made the article too. Mine is the first tweet.

Yeah I know, you can call me Ray, but you don’t have to call me Donnie.
