Through 2 periods, Dan Girardi has 4 seconds less ice time than mcdonaugh, and a half minute more than cernak.

Way too many guys playing out of control and out of position just to get hits. Absolutely mindboggling. Like they read on the internet that the playoffs are more physical and abandoned the identity that won them 62 games instead of just incorporating it into the intensity of the games.

Props to columbus, they are outworking and out hustling this lightning team pretty much every shift since the first period of the series.

The team is playing so soft, and I don't mean throwing hits or stuff like that. The team is soft in front of our net, soft in front of their net, and soft along the boards.

Columbus seems to have figured out what the Caps did to us in games 6 and 7 last year and are replicating it and our team / coaching staff is unable to make the necessary adjustments. Oh and also our goaltender has decided to turn to crap.

Well we did play a bit better, at least some did, while others did not even try to get to the net or skate through the CBJ trap. Just sad, some of these guys need to be gone by August. TJ finally took one down thru the center a little to late. Well some heads need to roll over this and maybe a change of captains. Gotta love the ref, Stammer gets hit after the play no call then he and foligno trade punches and it is 4/4. Playharder maybe we get that call. Now the refs think we are dirty so I doubt we get any calls in the next game...shit we got none in this game.
On the bright side we keep our 1st rounder and lose a 2nd only to the Rags. I wonder if you can draft guts.

Good thing Cooper was signed long term before this debacle. For him.
