Default Slow

They are doing everything they can so far to slow us down, holding guys up and standing in the way. I guess it is one way to try and beat us, but the ref need to make the calls.

This is one of the best games of the year (I realize that’s a long list). Winnipeg is playing playoff hockey with all the roughhouse garbage that goes with it, and the Lightning are powering through and whipping them.

Default Win

We persevere! Kuch ties Vinny and the 4th line breaks the wings off the jets. Don’t mess with Ceddy and his crew. Glad to see Erne get a goal he just works hard. The refs need to go back to ref school.

Winnipeg was missing some of their best defensive players, but the way we controlled play at 5 on 5 was really impressive. Not too bad when your 4th line has a combined 30 goals right now.

For real. My vote for worst officiating of the night: Paquette's penalties at the end. What the hell did he do in that scuffle to earn a penalty let alone slashing? The unsportsmanlike call was crap too. Tapping the glass on the way in or breaking your stick on your goal happens all the time with nothing called.

Looking at the schedule, I thought Boston had a realistic opportunity to pick up 4 points on us this week.

Not so much now.

No problem with the unsportsmanlike. It’s the other two on him that were absurd.
