I didn’t see an emergency call up, so someone (Hedman, McDonagh or Rutta) must be ready to play.

Hedman missed a check on Kase right before Goodrow got the elbowing penalty. That seemed to be where he was injured.

Hedman out. Day-to-day with a lower body injury.

McDonagh in.

Anyone remember the tilt with Mantha vs Serg? I think it was his first year with us. Serg got handled. I want to see that fight now. Plus I don't like Mantha

I hope that's just rust from McDonagh because he was a major liability all night. He wasn't exactly playing great hockey when he got hurt, but he looked really slow tonight.

Hey, McDonagh was actually doing his best to play like Victor Hedman ... missing the net cleanly on open shots twice in OT.

I'm kinda over McElhinney. The irony of the whole backup goalie drama is that the Bolts may be well-served to look for another option in 2020-21 anyway.

Seriously if we get into a shootout again with McElhinney starting just remove him out and let Vasy take over. I think they showed his career shootout save percentage is .662 and if you watched tonight it makes you wonder how it is even that high.

Kind of a flat effort on a back to back after a tough game yesterday but good fight to find a way to get a road point down two goals in the third.

McElhinney looked bad for most of the game tonight. There was a play in the 3rd where the DET guy skated around behind the net and Mc almost fell down. If the dude was paying attention it would have been the easiest wrap-around ever.

Also, that OT was garbage. Shoot da puck score da goal. When you have a 3-on-1 and you don't get a shot that should tell them something is wrong.
