Default Bolts Hold Six Picks in 2013 NHL Draft

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning hold six selections in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Sunday, June 30, including the third overall pick. The 2013 NHL Entry Draft begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The Lightning are scheduled to make their first selection with the third overall pick and then select in the second round (33rd overall), fifth round (124th overall), sixth round (154th overall) and the seventh round (184th and 186th overall). The Lightning traded their third round selection last summer to acquire goaltender Anders Lindback and traded their 2013 fourth round selection last summer to acquire forward B.J. Crombeen. The Lightning acquired a 2013 seventh round (186th overall) pick from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron on April 2, 2013.

Thank God Duemig is covering the draft. He is God's gift to hockey fans, if you don't believe me just ask him.

Seriously, he did a tremendous disservice to casual fans spewing his poorly informed knowledge of the VL4 buy out and its ramifications. He clearly knows nothing about our prospect pipeline either. It's a shame and its also why huge portions of our fanbase struggle to really understand this great sport and the TBLightning in particular.

I drive alot and like sports talk so sometimes the Lil Pup is all that's on. Before I come to my senses (and subsequently change the station) I often have listened to too much of the BS he puts out.

If you get XM/Sirius, the folks on the NHL talk are quite good most of the time.
