Factoring in Kolzig's cap hit for bonuses, once R2 and Stamkos are signed, we'll be sitting about $1.5M under the salary cap.

Default too close

Wow that is too close for me, I hope they don't sign R2 at this point. But we still have to wheel and deal yet.

Here's hoping they're as good at dumping/moving deadweight as they are at acquiring talent. They did say that was the plan all along though. What was it? Shoot for the moon and then make the numbers work out later..

Either they're going to force some left wings to play right side....or they're thinking of rolling six lines....or some pieces will be moved later for other pieces

Ward, Roy, Karlsson, Stewart, Darche, Ouellet, MacDonald, Lessard, Jokinen, Kuba, Lukowich....All have cause to be nervous. I'd love to keep Roy, and look how hot Ouellet got at the end of the dead season....I just wish the NHLwould snap into the third millennium here and extend the bench by a couple guys. Imagine being able to dress an extra fwd and d. Why not, look at the NFL, what do they bring, 70 guys for every game? Hope they keep Gratton though, for h is faceoff ability alone, plus he's willing to stand in front. I f he stays out of the box - which if he didn't under Torts I don't know what to expect -he should be OK

I like the new team owners. These guys are shrewd, crafty, bold enough to follow through on predictions made and they aint done yet

Nice change of pace here, I haven't been so pumped about the Lightning in four years

Not losing your mind. I'm losing mine. The totals were all correct. I just forgot to add Hall... fixed.

Default we would benefit from having increased #'s

on gamenight, but the NFL is a terrible example since they only allow 45 to dress on game day. 53 man roster. Keeping an extra few would be beneficial since more folks will be at games and there might be a shortage of popcorn servers?

Bump. Added contracts for Craig and Niskala. Adjusted estimates for Stamkos and Artyukhin based info in the press.

Currently projecting at about $1.2M below the salary cap.

And trading Kuba for a second- or third-round pick will have us sitting pretty.

If we got a 2nd that would be great, 3 2nds and a 1st would be a much needed boost for the farm.
