Refs were worse than usual tonight.

Did anybody get a good look at the Palat injury? It sure looked like he took a shoulder right to the nose which should be reviewed by the League. The refs of course did nothing.

Looked like the shoulder started low and legal, but it may of been the helmet from McKinnon making contact with Pallys face. The angle was not the best and they didn't seem to focus on it.

It's hard not to get carried away on how good they are looking, but all we gotta do is remember last year. That being said, the team is doing so many things with more detail and I'm really digging the tenacity and grit and if Coleman adds to that, then I'm stoked for the second season.

I saw the trainer dabbing blood, so it wouldn't surprise me if he got his nose broken or cut by the helmet.

It wasn't a penalty, IMO. Lord knows Palat's done that exact same thing to opponents many a time.

I believe it was an elevated elbow, as MCK was bracing for the hit. No penalty, and yeah his beak is busted.

The replay showed in the arena looked clean. Looked like McKinnon's helmet hit Palat's, in the process either McKinnon's visor hit Palat, or his helmet pushed Palat's visor into his nose.
