Purcell has been very productive this year, 8 points, without a lot of actual ice time, averaging just 14 minutes. He's giving us a third line that can really threaten to score.

Great observation. That kind of stuff does not go unnoticed around the league. Just like good behavior in front of a goalie can lead to less fracas from the D later in the game, that player respect will be noted by other players and will possibly effect 91 being seriously run in the future.

Great observation by you Puckhead. In sharp contrast to the battlefield, in the NHL and in regular life respect breeds respect.
