Default 2/27 Lightning vs. Wild

Stuff You Should Know: Puck Drops at 7:30 pm, Local TV - SunSports (No HD*), CI Feed s/b SS (per CI Indemand)

Game Previews:
TBL.com
TSN

My Questions:

- What will the lines look like?
- Who will be in net?
- Who will have made it in town by game time?
- Will Bolye still play 30 mins+ now that the playoffs are out of reach?
- Will we ever see that 6th D-man again?
- Will Torts be behind the bench?

All this to be answered tonight and more…

BTW, that's it for me today, I have got to make up for the lack of meaningful work completed over the last two days!!!

* Next game scheduled to be in HD is 2/29 vs the leafs

I'd assume Smith is going to get the start, and I'd LOVE to hear who is going to be on our 2nd line with Grats.

That was the word in the SP Times if he makes it in to TB on time. Shoot I'm sure there were plenty of flights out of Dallas last night. Classic route from Dallas to Atlanta to Tampa. As long as his gear didn't get lost along the way.

And should see his ugly green pads on in the lightning colors. Yuck! That boy best perform or he can expect a very warm welcome.

God Bless You. Is there a support group forming for this? (For PK sufferers, not necessarily Lightning sufferers)

As far as I'm concerned, you can lump Rick and Chief in there with the happy talkers pretending to have blinders on. Sunday's game against BUF, those guys didn't make a single reference to all the deadline trade speculation surrounding Boyle and Richards -- as if it was something that didn't really dress. Listening to other team's broadcasters, they had no problem wondering what their rosters might look like on Wednesday. Kind of insulting to think they need to walk on eggshells around such a *fragile* fanbase.

Oh... and I almost forgot... Rick was even saying how the Bolts really needed to beat BUF to get on that roll if they were going to make a playoff run. Really?!? Come on....

It would refreshing if those three wouldn't be so fixated on painting the Lightning world all sunshine and lollipops.

Are you sure that doesn't have more to do with directives from Sun Sports and/or the Lightning? I know Chief isn't afraid to rip people on the radio post-game show. I just assumed that it was coming down from above. Chief and Pekham have been around long enough to know what the score is. PK not so much.

Aren't Rick and the Chief Lightning employees? I know that in some other places the broadcasters are employees of the broadcaster and, as such, have more ability to be candid with their remarks. I say that because I remember the Chicago White Sox were constantly fighting with their broadcasters about the remarks they made on air but because they weren't their employees could only complain to the broadcasters.

Glad to see I'm not the only one whom PK irks the hell out of. Between the happy talk and how he constantly has to stare down the camera during interviews as if he's the focus of the piece, he can be extremely irritating.

Then again, we've had worse.
