LOL, at least he knows where to go to find the troglodytes that share his beliefs. It's rare that you get to see people devolve in real time. Savor it.

I mean... for Cherry that was just like a standard-issue offensive comment, but he was like the soccer player who’s already on a yellow card and keeps committing fouls. If he didn’t have such a long list of priors he might have survived.

Plus Grapes hasn’t made a good hockey point in at least 5 years and probably more like 10. Long since time for him to have gone.

Just saw something a bit interesting.

Adam Erne with Detroit has 0 goals, 0 Assist in 16 games. I haven't dug any deeper then that, but guessing he's not playing on a line with many other weapons.

It's too early to draw any conclusions, but I expected him to do better with more opportunities. Think he's getting about 12 -13 minutes per game.

Just a bit surprised...

Also, the 4th rounder we got for him should be quite early in the round, which is nice. Couple that with the possibility of getting Vancouver's 1st rounder, and there could be some nice bargaining chips for JBB come trade deadline or at the draft next year...just sayin.

In the VAN-COL game last night, Matt Calvert gets hit in the head with a slapshot, and is laying on the ice BLEEDING OUT OF HIS HEAD, and refs couldn't be bothered to stop play. Of course, VAN scores during the run of play while Calvert struggled to get to his feet, then dropped back to the ice.

That's one of the worst things I've seen in a league that routinely has ridiculous calls/non-calls from the "professional" refs.

Christ, that entire team of refs should be suspended for the rest of the season, if not fired out right for gross incompetence.

I expect the NHL to do nothing.

What makes it worse is pettersson (who shot it), puts his hand up and motions to the refs about it.

Petterson knew what every person not in stripes knew. Any direct shot to the head should be an automatic stoppage.

NFL/NCAA football crews being part timers. They are no worse than the “professionals” we are used to seeing in the NHL.

It's reckless endangerment, full stop.
Do the refs need to see a replay of Clint Malarchuck to figure it out? The fact that that is a legit question should prove how laughable the NHL's supposed concern for concussions is.

Multiple Avs players were right to call bullshit after the game. Frankly I'm surprised the Avs coach didn't throw a chair onto the ice to get the refs to stop play. It was warranted.

If that slapshot hit him in the throat, or if he got hit in the head again while lying on the ice, could have provided lasting damage or worse.

What a fucking joke of a league.

Or stepped on by a skate as the guys are stepping over him. Legit that is a tough thing to watch.

Zach Werenski in the playoffs in 2017 against Pittsburgh. It's happened before, and it'll keep happening.
