We haven't heard the full story yet. There's another shoe to drop, IMO. As noted in this story, everybody knew Giuliani was trolling for dirt in Ukraine a few months back. So that's not what triggered this response from the IC. Maybe it's as simple as the White House is freaking out because they know a tape exists and they fear it's going to be a watershed moment like the Nixon tapes (because after all those months of squealing "no collusion" he's on the phone openly trying to collude to manipulate an election), but I feel like there's another incident or incident(s), per the initial reporting, that dovetail with it that explains why the IC is freaking out. Like, it wouldn't shock me if he was also keeping Putin in the loop about it all.

Question for DubDub (who has magically vanished into thin air while awaiting asinine right wing talking points about whatever BS Deep State conspiracy theory or Obama whataboutism is being used to rationalize this treasonous behavior)...

The man who just spent two years braying about "no collusion" day in and day out with Russia just got caught red handed trying to collude with the Ukrainians. Given that we've established the latter has happened (because Giuliani copped to it), how naive do you have to be to believe that the former isn't true, also? Especially given what we know his doofus son was doing in 2016?

Nevermind, I know what your response will be. Pants around your ankles howling at the moon half drunk about, "SOCIALIST DEEP STATE is conspirin' with George Soros and the Clintons to entrap our Orange Jesus so they can install Michael McDonald as the president and take away our guns, pornography, and my access to NewYorkTimesPostMensHealthGoodHousekeeping.com! They're threatening to take it to the streets along with the ANTIFA! MAGA dammit!"

Caught a few minutes of Anderson Cooper tonight and I think I got a snippet of the new braying, er, talking points. They're referencing that comment Obama made about "being more flexible" after the (2012) election, as if it's anywhere close to the same shit being alleged against Herr Drumpf.

Dance, McDonald puppets, dance!!

Totally the same as trying to extort a foreign ally into investigating a political opponent's son (an American citizen) by withholding promised military and political aid.

Certainly he was talking to Putin, Russia benefits greatly by the US not protecting Ukraine. If it wasn't Putin's idea in the first place then for sure Trump would have called Putin up, beaming about the new plot he has going with Ukraine and how it's going to help Russia.

Pennsylvania, Wisconsin lost the most factory jobs in the past year: report

I dunno, if the sole reason I snuck into my job was a few thousand votes in places like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania I might’ve spent the last three years being pretty on the stick about keeping my promises in those states as opposed to spending all my time twisting another’s country’s arm to try to dig up dirt on my political opponent’s son.

The above would be the “incompetence” in the Trump troika of cruelty, corruption, and incompetence.

Don’t doubt That for a minute. Like killing 5 birds with two stones, or 4 dimensional chess. Definitely one of the two. Methinks the final fallout from this starts the I proceedings.

Listening to McCarthy yesterday on Faux made me wanna puke. “Why didn’t the whistleblower come to Congress?” “Who is the whistleblower”. “NYT got caught pants down about some Kavanaugh details.” (Deflect much?). “No ‘promise’ was mentioned in WaPo story”.

Yeah, I think its about time we get that party started and F the Senate when they won’t convict, if the WB has clear and convincing evidence of abuse of power and election meddling.

Because that wouldn't have followed the legal whistleblower procedure and the whistleblower would've been open to criminal liability for leaking classified information.

Remember this episode the next time some Republican asshole tries to claim they care about the handling of classified information and trot out some version of, "But her e-mails!"

Joe Biden rips Fox News drone a new asshole for asking him questions about the debunked "scandal" regarding his son that is at the center of Trump's Ukraine chicanery.

https://twitter.com/AdamParkhomenko/...158404612?s=20

"Trump's doing this because he knows I'll beat him like a drum."

Biden's always loved his sons fiercely. Would be ironic as hell if what Trump's done wakes Joe from his early campaign slumber.

Point of order:

It's been over 4 days since the news broke that Donald Trump attempted to abuse his office to bribe/coerce a foreign government to investigate a political opponent...

Seen DubDub?
