I guess you like SK more then Cooper then, cuz the guy hardly plays and to me hes doesnt seem that hard to replace....Heck Sustr and Dotchin played more then he did over the last few years...Strong in net versus a number 7-8 defenceman is an easy call for me... Cernak, Foote and Masin or offer Coburn a 1 year deal and the D should be fine next year...Win now for me...I just dont see losing SK as some monumental loss for TB...But AGAIN...just speculation anyways...JB rarely accepts my advice...so ok if you dont agree too...

Assuming Vasy heals up fine the silver lining may be he'll have 20 or so less games on him come playoff time. He definitely ran out of gas last year.

Per Joe Smith, Frantz Jean said that it happened on a freak play in practice -- a puck caught him on an unprotected part of the skate.

Louis Domingue said that Vasy couldn't walk, but put ice on it and said he was "good to go."

Needless to say (and funny as that is) he is not good to go.

The initial timetable looked like 3-4 weeks but that was pre-evaluation, so we'll find out more tomorrow.

I get the feeling that Vasy would tape an aspirin to it and play if he were asked.

4 weeks would be 13 more games. 6 weeks would be 18 more games. Only 1 set of back to back games during the entire 6 week period.
