Default FIOS vs BHN

I have been a FIOS user for the past 7 years. In the next two months I will be moving to a community that includes BHN basic cable as part of the HOA dues, a basic savings of $56 per month for add ons.

Anyone have experience with both systems? My primary concern is a reliable Internet connection. This pushed me to Verizon after BHN had weekly outages in my area which cost me cash, there are hard deadlines for some of the online taxes I file and I eat the late penalties. Lesser concerns are HD picture quality and telephone land line service. BHN will save me a few bucks in the connections where a converter box is not needed.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, these are the only two systems available in this neighborhood.
