Default Skype

I will be going to Europe for a couple of weeks. Anyone have any experience with Skype on an iPhone? I already purchased a nano chip for net access and incoming calls and Skye looks to be the best for calling. Thoughts?

My daughter used it to keep in contact with us when she was in Taiwan. I'd say the biggest limitation is bandwidth, which was very mediocre in Taiwan. We skype with friends in Germany and it's great.

My only caution is to make sure how much you'll be charged.

Tried Google Voice? I know several people who swear by it, and it supports sms as well.

Allegedly, $.02 per minute for voice calls.

I used Skype from my iPad all the time, especially with some of my international clients at work.
