Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

After another 8-10 games or so since I last checked, ABB is still around a PPG, Stephens is about a half, Raddysh is treading water while Katchouk and Volkov's production has actually gone down. If anything, Somppi and Colton are trending up, production wise, but not much else to write home about prospect wise at forward, at least from a pure stat perspective.

Not sure how Foote and Masin are developing as that wouldn't really be reflected in the stats.

Certainly does not bode well, though.

Amazing what the addition of Conacher and Smith did to the Crunch. They have put up three really good games in a row.

A little worried about the Goalie depth at Syracuse for immediate future. Think we could be thin if we ever need to use anyone from there to help the Bolts during second season. Guessing JBB knows that...so a depth move might make sense.

The Crunch probably has a bottom five goaltending mix and a bottom five defense. I don't know how you overcome that, no matter how good your offensive unit is. I wouldn't trust any of the goalies or defenders to come up and provide anything meaningful at the NHL level this season.

Cal Foote and Masin are that bad? That's disappointing.

I wouldn't say bad, just not improving in development that you would expect. Foote has already crossed the 100 game threshold in the AHL, and you would expect a defenseman of his pedigree to start really dominating at that level. It's hard to tell if it's development or coaching related. I still think he will be a NHL defenseman, maybe as soon as the start of next season.

I will say that I have been very impressed with Ross Colton every time I watch a Crunch game. Kind of Cirelli like.

I've heard enough. Sign him to an 8 year deal

Sent Volkov back down and he promptly has a hatty.

Seems like the depth arrow for Bolts prospects is pointing up.

Volkov, Stephen's, Verhaeghe have made me feel better about the pipeline overall. Volkov needs more time in Syracuse, but I think it certainly helps to get a few games here and there to bring him along.

Cal and Nolan Foote seem like very solid prospects for the future.

Barre-Boulet, Fourier, Raddysh, Koutchuk, Walker bring NHL potential over time.

Joseph will really have to show something eye opening if he ever gets to put on the Bolts jersey again...seems like he is a likely trade chip for deadline, though I would imagine his value isn't high, so he wouldn't seem like the driver of any deal.
