You can run all programs from the HDD if you wish. The only thing I'd suggest is that if you have a specific program that you run primarily(game in most cases), put it on the boot drive to take advantage of the faster storage.

Yeah, you can install programs on any drive. You'll want anything that requires large amounts of data, like games, photo/video editors, etc. on your SSD drive since they're so much faster. All of your other stuff like office apps and other utilities should be on your HDD. When you go to install a program look for a custom install option so that you can change the default install directory to the HDD since installers default to your boot drive.

Thanks, guys. My memory hog/slow program is Quickbooks and forced reboots when the tax program crashes as it does at least once each week. Fast reboot will make my life easier.

Getting spanked by snow up here in Maine today, and I guess tonight and tommorow.
Already 6 + inches on ground and its still coming.
Snowblowin tonight.

Ski areas call it white gold.

I'm one of the weirdos who prefers cold weather (maybe not Maine cold) in the winter. It's been 80 degrees and humid down here.

You're not the only one Danny, I like it to be cold in the winter also. It's the whole reason I'm leaving Florida when I retire. The sunshine is nice but after awhile I would like a cold spell. A little bit of snowfall is nice to see.

Yeah having lived up north a few years, snow is nice but dealing with the aftermath is a massive pain in the ass. I'll take a little cold WITHOUT the crippling snow, thanks, lol. At least it's colder in Tampa today (before getting hotter again in a couple days).

If you like 3 seasons, move to the Inland Empire in CA. Winter is more like Fall. You can see all the snow you want if you wish by simply driving a little bit into the higher elevations.

Every morning it's in the mid-30s, warms to just south of 70 and drops off again.

Summer can be brutally hot and dry, but once the sun goes down it cools off substantially and 85F here is not remotely uncomfortable. Hell, 110F in the shade feels bearable because there's really not much humidity.

The only place better is San Diego. It's more expensive, but that place has to have the best weather year-round period.
