Pulled it out of the fire in the end. Take the two points and hope for a better effort next time.

Pretty good to get two points when the team was probably jet lagged as hell.

Default won one that could have been easily lost

first game back after successful roadie, but for last game. Seemed like a true trap game and Sens were capable of taking advantage. We are light years better than them, but they were opportunistic and just a few glitches did set them up. Andersen has sucked so bad this year compared to last that I really liked our odds with Vasy v Craig.

Great 2 point pickup since a lot of those closest chasing have hit rough patches. PK looked like the PK we love, aggressive and killer. Not that he needs it, but really glad for Stammer to pot the winner so decisively.

The scoreboard doesn't reflect it, but the last 45 minutes of the game they absolutely ran Ottawa off the ice. Shots attempted ended up something like 76-28 Tampa Bay. Scoring chances were 2:1 Tampa Bay and may have been nudging up closer to 3:1 considering the Lightning had the puck almost the entire OT. The finishing was off tonight, but if you outplay a team by that margin night in and night out you're going to be in great shape.

Look at that Ottawa roster and tell me not to weep over missing the playoffs last season. It's mind boggling. But the resulting extra rest and collective chip on our Bolts' shoulders is something to behold. Next on the revenge tour: Nino Neiderietter, who cripple TJ and our remaining playoff hopes last season. Sic em!

And that happens how often????

At the time I posted, your scenario could not have happened...
