League record 5 straight clean sheets, and Vancouverís keeper stood on his head in the second half. Atlanta couldíve easily had a couple more goals.

Rowdies pretty much dominated their Eastern Conference co-leaders the Red Bulls en route to a 2-0 win and sole possession of first place. These guys are for real. Juan Tejada had both goals as his story book season as a walk on continues.

Barco with two goals for Argentina in the U20 World Cup. One from penalty and the second an absolute golazo volley. 5-2 win over South Africa to start the tournament.

When he comes back my hope is that FbB just breaks down and makes him Atlanta’s #10 and pushes Pity out to the wing. The schedule has finally caught up to United the pst two games. Just an insane amount of travel with, I believe, 9 total matches in the month of May with trips to Vancouver, SLC, and NY all within the last couple of weeks.

If he really crushes it at this tourney, though, the European clubs are probably coming to Atlanta checkbooks opened to get him.

Absolute garbage defending by the second string sinks the Rowdies U.S. Open Cup campaign as they lost 4-3 to OKC Energy in a weather delayed game. At least two of the goals were complete gifts. Sucks.

Barco continues to play well as Argentina beat a good Portugal side 2-0 in the U20 WC.

Atlanta just got Gressel and Wild green cards and cut their first round pick Asideu and FdB just came out and said they're going shopping for another piece in the international transfer window. I'm betting they're going to go fix their left back situation now.

Looked like a bunch of nobodies playing tentative and slow. It's extremely scary that after all this time we still haven't developed a striker better than Altidore, still haven't developed a better linking midfielder than Bradley, and the back line is still such a train wreck.

Berhalter has a "system" and then picks the guys he thinks fits it, even if they are scrubs unworthy of being called up. How about picking the best guys first with an eye towards how you can make them play together?

And yeah this generation is kind of a wash overall outside of Pulisic and McKennie. The U20 kids better grow up fast.

I was hoping for a strong countering side but when you can't even pretend to defend you can forget about doing that.
