Default TJ

TJ did not practice today he is out for body maintenance, however Erne did practice in a regular jersey, no red no contact jersey, hope he is ready to play. That is why Peca was called up from what I read. These refs need to pay attention to what the devils are doing out there, the slashes and trips are really dangerous and the refs need to make those calls. I wonder if the refs saw the video on Coleman, hope so they got gamed pretty good on that one.

I just went to the ticket site. There were 5 sections with 2 seats together. The remaining tickets were single seats.

Hopefully, those are the only available tickets and the STM don’t sell their seats to Boston / Toronto fans.

I don't know about you, but my experience was there was NO comparison between the comportment of TO and Boston fans. That said, you don't want to hear any sustained support for the opposing team, even if its from (generally) good natured Leafs fans.

Couldn't agree more. I have had quite a few pleasant exchanges with TO fans, bruin fan - NEVER. Buffalo fans were always a-holes when they were a competent team.

Just got a note from the NHL app that we're playing Saturday at either 3pm or 8pm.

On the asshole scale of 1-5, with a 5 being Philly fan (when they were good) to a 1 being San Jose fan, Boston is a solid 4.75. They come in waves and behave like total obnoxious pigs. Toronto is a 2.5. They bring a large number of fans and chant go leafs go throughout the game, but they are generally well behaved. They are mostly elderly, which eliminates the mouthiness. Whereas, the Boston fans are generally younger.

That said, I was surprised at how few Montreal fans were at the playoff game vs the regular season. During the season, you have the snowbirds who are now gone and the vacation charters that go to the Panther / Lightning games with busses full of fans don’t have time to get organized and buy blocks of tickets. So I think we will have a much better experience if Toronto can somehow pull this off tonight.

Toronto fans are much nicer but there’s a little passive-aggressiveness with them. They can’t help but think hockey fans in Florida are rubes. They’ve tested me a few times at games to try and prove they know more about players than I do but I always passed. My favorite was the time one of them asked me if Wendel Clark had been an All-Star in Tampa (answer: yes).
