Orlando has 1 point in three games with an overhauled roster and a year under Kreis' system. I'm aware Dwyer has been injured and Sacha had a suspension but if they don't go on a run soon Kreis may get the boot by June so they can try and salvage their season.

The expectation should be Orlando being one of the top four teams in the East this year. That's what they look like on paper at least.

Elsewhere last night, Waston took a red card for elbowing and Atlanta abused Vancouver 4-1 playing against 10 men with Martinez getting a hat trick. 4 goals in 3 games so far, and Barco's still hurt.

Really entertaining 2-2 draw between Atlanta and NYCFC yesterday. Atlanta probably should've won 3-2 but got a goal disallowed for... essentially... goaltender interference.

Vancouver had to play the last 50 minutes of their game against KC with nine men. It... went badly.

I'm sure they felt like nine corpses when the game concluded. The energy you have to expend being down to 10 men is difficult enough.

The Lightning made an appearance at the Boca Juniors stadium tonight during a 3-1 win for them.

Boca Juniors = Atlanta United 2A

United boat raced LA Galaxy and Zlatan 2-0 Saturday night. They also hit the woodwork like 3-4 times including Martinez actually doinking a PK off the post. They did that without Villalba, btw, so they still haven't had all their weapons for a game yet this season.

Manchester City finishes with 100 points to smash yet another Premier League record, thanks to a goal on the last kick of the game. Epic.

They finish with the highest point margin for a champion, the highest goal difference, and the most goals ever.

I wish Pep Guardiola would coach Argentina. Yes he benefits from having the best talent, but he also takes that talent to even greater heights than the individuals.

Orlando City banning Atlanta supporter groups from their stadium is absolutely hilarious given their fans were the ones who threw tons of garbage on the field in that last meeting. Their fans overall are abnormally belligerent thugs given the way they treated Rowdies fans when their B team visited Al Lang. I believe there were incidents when they visited Atlanta as well. Stay classy, guys. IMO that organization needs to look in the mirror and start cleaning house in their own supporters groups before something really embarrassing happens.

Rowdy return: Leader comes back with a plan

Quote:
Edwards’ plan to upgrade Al Lang Stadium, via $80 million in private financing, already won the approval of St. Petersburg voters in a 2016 referendum. Now he says he might go ahead with improvements regardless of whether the Rowdies join MLS or stay put in the second-tier but rapidly growing United Soccer League.

“I have two different business plans,” he says. “As a businessman, you have to make a decision: Which one’s better for me? Which one’s better for the fans? Which one’s better for … whatever? You make those decisions and then you move on. This is our second year in the USL and we’re very satisfied with the competition."
