I think my wife must be the luckiest person. Last night she wins the Point jersey and today she wins the Kaneís meet and greet with Steven Stamkos.

I think all this luck is Godís way of compensating her for how unlucky she was to marry me.

My wife and kid just had Lasik and love it (all 20/15). I however, must wait until cataracts because I can't stand monovision (what my wife has). Anyone up to date on the new lens implants that correct for both near sightedness and over-50 eyes (reading)?

Celebrated my birthday with SOS. Delicious.

My wife got the multi vision implants when she had her cataracts repaired 18 months ago. About $7k additional out of pocket and she still needs cheaters for reading. Waste of cash.

Done at (allegedly) the best in the area, St. Lukeís.

Thanks. This is one of the reasons why people said I should wait, because allegedly there is better stuff coming down the pipe in 5-10 years. Hopefully I won't get cataracts until after then....

Good news for us old timers is hearing aids will be OTC in just over a year. Pricing will be around 1k per pair compared to the current low end price of about 3k per pair. High end from Siemens can be around 15k per pair.

The big change is they wonít have to be prescribed (in most cases) by an audiologist.

Any referrals on an employment attorney? Son in law is getting stiffed on over $6k in commissions and being possibly let go for making a stink about it.
