Looks like the same lineup tonight for #TBLightning based on morning skate
Palat-Stamkos-Johnson
Gourde-Point-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Miller
Erne-Paquette-Joseph
Martel-Callahan

Hedman-Girardi
McDonagh-Cernak
Sergachev-Rutta
Coburn-Stralman

it really is strange that Rutta is in the lineup. Cooper has historically protected younger players in the playoffs. I wonder if Coburn is hurt

I don’t know how these urban myths get started.

First off, Rutta is 28 - hardly a younger player.

He played Corelli last year. Cernak, Joseph this year.

Because he didn’t play problem child Drouin doesn’t mean he hates young players.

Stralman confirmed out.

I have a feeling there will be no lineup changes, and that gives me some heartburn.

younger as in 'less experienced' sorry for the wording. He did have a history of having tight leash on all 'less experienced' players over past playoff series. You have a player like Coburn who has been a staple in the lineup all season. His effectiveness although could be argued; doesnt change the fact that he was in the lineup over most of the wins.

Its just very strange that he is leaving Rutta and Sergachev who has been sloppy at best most of the season as a pairing.

Well hopefully if we aren't getting personnel changes we at least get utilization changes. No more Sergachev/Rutta (and cut their time by 4-5 minutes at least), and get Mcdonaugh/Cernak around 6 more minutes minimum.

Anton Stralman said he suffered a setback in Toronto and they didn’t want to risk making it worse, which is why he’s been out since. Feeling better. Unsure when he’ll be back, whether it’ll be in this series #TBLightning

Coburn was playing incredible hockey at one point this season. This is baffling. He’s better than at least two guys who are playing, and better suited for this matchup than three of the starting dmen. WTF?

They should be sliding Sergachev back to RHD and the third pair should be Coburn/Sergachev. Clearly not happening, though.

Gotta find a way to get into the offensive zone cleanly with numbers.

Thinking the play the Canes used to score their first goal the other night against the Caps might help break up the BJ log jam thru the neutral ice/blue line area.

WATCH AT 6:20 - look for center to cross to the wing for a drop and eventutally beats the coverage.
