However, Kucherov’s agent Dan Milstein says there haven’t been any talks of a new extension and he doesn’t expect any to start until after the 2018-19 season starts. After all, Kucherov isn’t going anywhere. Even with arbitration rights, Kucherov will be staying in Tampa Bay, but the Lightning will spend as much time as it can evaluating the play of Kucherov

You see come July 1,2019 a team can throw a stupid number at him, one in which we can not match. So yes, he can go elsewhere.

True but in reality a team that can afford a stupid number probably isn’t a team he is going to want to go to, if he cares about winning anytime soon.

Not to mention most GMs don't play that game and make enemies. You see some rival teams do it, but generally it doesn't happen.

Definitely not the most capable guy in expressing himself...if he is a leader then it has to be by example...

He's never been a choker. Always been a guy who competes and is pissed when he gets beat/loses.

His play since the Trade Deadline was completely absent of that. His points in the NJ series almost looked accidental. There's something behind his being completely disengaged for months and in particular in the WSH series.

Agreed. The guy has shooting ice and a net at his house for cripes sake. He reminds me of Ciccarelli: Dino got pissed when he didn't score IN PRACTICE. There is something REALLY bothering him, and I hope that between Coop and Y they figure it out.

Vladdy being traded?

As per that interview, did he intake some nitrous oxide before it?

Vegas could be one if they can keep the cap space they have through 2019.

I won't try to understand how Kucherov feels. He'll look like someone ran over his dog after a hat trick but is the happiest I've ever seen him while recounting a heart breaking high stakes playoff elimination.
