Well... his ELC is over which usually means he's waiver eligible. But he was undrafted and signed a two-year ELC at age 22. He's now 24. He could be waiver exempt, he could be waiver eligible. Have to break out the CBA and probably ask the organization. He's one of the those gray area cases.

thats what I was thinking. but he didn't play many games in the nhl. sorry I'm still searching for this

Pretty sure last season was the last year he was exempt. He is waiver eligible going forward

Confirmed by the organized. Oberg required to pass waivers next season.
