Default Hope So

If this pans out, it's truly a tremendous shot in the arm for the ADs offense this year. Timothy had it right in a previous post. He was a 2 point a game player until the Hawks traded him that December. He and Martin St.Pierre were a truly lethal combination. They had 138 points between them before Bochenski was traded. You feed Bochenski, he will score.

Looking at the potential lines, we will be much improved this season.

Thanks, I must have missed him on UFA lists. He's listed as a Thrasher on the NHLPA site.

Lessard might be a Top 9 forward on the Thrashers.

Not a bad fallback plan to play in Chicago though!

Bochenski last played in the AHL for the Admirals during the 2006-2007 season, putting up an astronomical 33 goals and 33 assists in just 35 games.
Is that a typo?! Whoa. Why hasn't he made the jump yet?

He did really well for Boston a few years ago, then got tossed around.

Not a typo. How about 89-93-182 in 143 career AHL games with Binghampton and Norfolk.

Bochenski is the new Shane Willis. Can only play on a scoring line, and has had trouble translating his game and making it stick on a NHL scoring line.

He doesn't have NHL speed is part of his problem.

TSN is confirming that Bochenski signed a two year deal with Tampa.
