The Lightning, I'm sure, will be combing the Western league to find a guy like that, though. We clearly need that if Tocchet's style of taking the body early and often is going to be this team's MO. If you're going to stir the other team up, you need some muscle for when things come to a head.

I don't have a problem with carrying a guy like Koci short term at around 450k if he's playing wing for 2-4 minutes a night. But, it's not a sustainable long term option.
Not so much romanticizing, just saying everyone got what they wanted, skaters, hitters, goalscorers, fighters etc.

Looking at the FM totals... most of the leaders are smaller guys. McNaught is 6'2"... I was going to say Tayler Jordan (6'6" 180) until I saw the video of his one punch, knocked-out fight against Cameron Abney. Abney's a '91, so he's eligible - not on the CSS list.

Cole Grbavac... he's a grinder, can forecheck, and strong on the puck. Dude's a killer, Brantt Myhers like. Needs to work on his leverage just a bit but could be the prototype player-who-can-actually-play and throw 'em.

Then keep him away from controlled substances and you've got a (young) Bob Probert clone.

I watched Jordan beat the snot out of Thomas Hickey. He straddled Hickey pummeling him. The refs stood there and watched. I've never been that pissed watching a hockey game.

In the QMJHL, I like Ryan Jasinsky, he's not the biggest in the world, but does his job well, not sure about his draft status.

If you want USHL, heavy-handed Jimmy Siers might be a possibility, I believe someone requested a "Domi type".
