I see from Cristodero's article that Recchi's 5 assists is a team record for assists in a game. Grats to him!

Yeah, all I'm looking for is consistency. I'd rather they not call a ton of borderline penalties, but if you are then it needs to go both ways.

He's been steady. A good pick-up.

Yeah, what was that about. He got hit right across the face.

Did anyone see the 'slash'? I saw the cross-check and then the camera panned over, and then the ref's arm went up.

He pretty much laid it out explicitly earlier in the season that he like Tampa and wasn't going to move his family from Tampa, and he was here to stay. Maybe he'd retire, but I think that if he comes back to play it will be here.

I think that he is the type of player that you give the option to stay or be moved. If he likes what he sees and wants to stay sign him to another year. His value here may be far greater than what he could bring in a trade.

That was a very satisfying game to watch. I am content for the rest of the season.

But if you could get a commitment from him to return after the season like he's done before .. it's something that you gotta consider. It'd basically be like getting something for nothing.
