Cajkovic (lower body injury) played for the first time since September 21 but did not register a point in a scorefest against Val-d’Or. The Dogs had a 4-2 lead in the second period before losing this one.

Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4 @ Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 2

C/W Gabriel Fortier, BC: 2-2-4, +3, 2 PIM, 7 SOG, 9/19 FO, 3 Hits, *Second Star*
Season Totals: 9 GP, 2-6-8, -4, 2 PIM
18-19 Totals: 68 GP, 35-48-83, +41, 27 PIM

Fortier had a huge night, factoring in all four goals as his Drakkar topped the home-sided Armada, 4-2. Fortier’s two goals were his first two of the season. He had been on a 3-game scoreless streak. The first was a weak-side finish off a 2-on-1 and the second another weak-side shot off a counter attack in the Armada zone.

Western Hockey League

Kelowna Rockets 8 @ Seattle Thunderbirds 3

W Nolan Foote, KEL: 2-0-2, +2, 2 PIM, 2 SOG, *First Star*
Season Totals: 7 GP, 4-6-10, +2, 15 PIM
19-20 Totals: 66 GP, 36-27-63, -1, 62 PIM

Foote had two goals and was named first star as Kelowna visited the Emerald City and came away with a big win.

Kamloops Blazers 3 @ Everett Silvertips 1

D Quinn Schmiemann, KAM: 1-0-1, +1, 0 PIM, 3 SOG
Season Totals: 7 GP, 1-2-3, +2, 12 PIM
19-20 Totals: 58 GP, 5-23-28, -7, 30 PIM

Schmiemann scored his first of the season, helping Kamloops to a road win in Everett.

United States Hockey League

Chicago Steel 3 @ Green Bay Gamblers 5

W McKade Webster, GB: 0-1-1, +1, 4 PIM, 3 SOG
Season Totals: 5 GP, 1-4-5, -2, 10 PIM
19-20 Totals: 6 GP, 0-2-2, -1, 4 PIM
*Committed to the University of Denver

Webster extended his point streak to four games Friday in the Gamblers’ 5-3 home win over Chicago. Webster was named Green Bay’s “Sport Clips Player of the Week” last week for getting a point in both weekend games.
