Default Lightning at Panthers - 10/5/19 @ 7 PM

Taking it down to their barn in the first of a back to back that ends in Carolina tomorrow.

Hoping to see some better even strength play tonight and not just depend on special teams to carry us.

Default Cbj

They used CBJ’s game plan to beat us. Bloody refs gave us 2PP’s scored on one but not the other. Then the pile-up in the crease to stop us from scoring. We did not play hard enough the first 2 periods, hope they learned a lesson.

Bobrovsky had to be superhuman to save them from blowing a 3 goal lead. So, naturally, they're declaring themselves SC champions on the Panthers broadcast.

Thank God we can finally get away from their dank trash fire team after slumming it with them for what seems like the past month.

Bastards.

That stretch where we got a bajillion penalties in a few minutes just killed us. Can't have that.

I thought Cooper said they were focused on not taking so many penalties, not how to take penalties in quick succession. They haven't looked good on that front so far.

This is a repeat of the penalty issues from last year, really. Refs are going to miss calls, sure, but Bolts have played fairly undisciplined over stretches both last year and in the couple of games this year as well. No excuse for that, although I'm sure Coop would like to try.

Same old song re: the refs. I felt they missed/didn't call some clear FLA penalties and that would have made a big difference in the game.

It's almost as if this is a known issue that should be accounted for in game planning, and execution (I'm dubious BTW, since pretty much every fan base feels that they get a raw deal from the refs).

This. That ticky tack BS call on Cirelli for nothing was awful considering what they let go
