Rather than start another thread, here's an article on Boucher & Lightning from the Globe:

Wow, more insight into just how often Boucher pushes his players to exhaustion. Every practice day is nearly as challenging as games. Lots of days off are great and necessary, but sheesh, I'm not so surprised to see how we play in the third period when I read that G&M article. Makes you wonder if the Lightning are going to need to take a different approach to their offseason conditioning.

Third periods — like skating in mud
Third periods on the second game of back-to-back nights — like Vinny Prospal skating in mud
Third periods on the second game of back-to-back nights in the final 1/3 of the season — like Vinny Prospal skating in mud with a refrigerator on his back?
