Agreed. There needs to be an intent to stabilize the region, completely unacceptable that indefinite quarantine seems to be the goal for Gaza.

At one point there was talk about making it illegal to support the BDS here in the US. Insanity.

That land is Palestine's and the world should be demanding that Israel stops killing the rightful owners.

Seems very much like that would be a violation of the First Amendment.

A lot of the right-wing wants there to be disruption in the middle east to bring about armageddon or some such. Then you have those who don't quite comprehend what started the issues with Israel in the first place & talk about their "right to protect their homes"...guess that doesn't apply to the original occupants.

Here's some food for thought:

Why Democrats can’t win the ‘respect’ of Trump voters

Reading those 2008 Obama quotes hurts. It demonstrates that he knew the correct policy of economic equality and knew the real values that the Democratic Party should have held close, but then appointed everyone Goldman Sachs wanted to his administration instead.

Default Great News Today

Republican Senators: Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and John Kennedy joined every single Democratic Senator in voting "yes" on the CRA to save Net Neutrality and trash the FCC's action.

The other upside to this is, we now have every Senator on record as to who they support. The Corporations or the People.

Net Neutrality lives for another day.

It goes to the house in January, I believe. So perhaps the results of the mid-terms will shake up the Republican mouth-breathers in that chamber. As things stand, I cannot imagine the necessary 30+ R's will defect.
