Default Great

We picked a great night to crap the bed tonight. Bloody nbc crew all about the brooms, but crap we don’t deserve the mentions tonight. Please stop waving the bloody stick as people skate by you, stand them up and hit them.

The have no depth beyond the 3 regulars on the right side.

They have to either remain healthy all season (not happening) or trade for help.

But tonight, it’s more than the right side.

Or play a guy on the off side. It's not ideal, but it's the better option, especially with a guy who has done it most of his career (including last year) on your roster.

And sure, it is to an extent. But Girardi is looking like he did last year when stuck on the top pair. It's hurting Hedman. Coburn is a mess trying to play with Sustr (again, just like last year).

4 in 6. Scheduled Loss. Team has looked kinda lost in the D Zone since Dotchin went down. The right side is just a trainwreck for depth.

Default Happy bday

Yeah happy bday. Love the no call on the brooms when they decked TJ after the play, and the knee trip on Coburn...great job.

Other than Vasilevskiy and Paquette, nobody really played well tonight... but Girardi was in another realm of awful, especially on the shift that led to Boston's 3rd goal.

Kucherov hurt? He isn’t skating hard at all. Thought this was one of Johnson’s better games other than the whole shooting aspect.

How one team has that much rest vs a team on a back to back kinda is baffling; guaranteed loss. Winnable game as soon as they started skating..but real lazy effort in the first half of the game. Never seen a team play keep away against us like that before.

Saturday not necessarily a must win but very much so for some momentum and San Jose playing the back to back. We put up another game like that I think it will be time to start shuffling the lines. Effort and urgency is lost.

Girardi played more than 20 minutes tonight. He’s been playing 15-16 earlier in the season on the 3rd line with Coburn.

Bob McKenzie talked about the Lightning looking for a 3rd line winger to go with Johnson and Killorn. We’ve identified that need too. But the greater need appears to be a RHD. We’re fine if everyone is healthy and we limit everyone’s minutes by playing 4 on the right side, but as we have seen, that’s not realistic

9 of 28 on face offs in the offensive zone. Chasing the puck all night. It was an awful performance.

I don't get why we went 12 forwards if we were going to play brown 4 minutes.
