I'm not seeing any lapses in Lashoff's play that would warrant (just a cut above) Welch-like references

Not here necessarily...but most have concluded now that Mike in net equals a loss automatically elsewhere on the internet...

I admit I am one of those, it seems to me every other shot that goes high on his glove side goes in (I swear he has a hole in it), he showed in the first few games he can play, but then he just didnt play to the same level after that.

That being said I dont dislike McKenna, I think he can be a great AHL goalie and maybe a decent backup at the NHL level, but not now with this really bad defense. I just would prefer it if Ramo got pretty much all the starts, as I have much more confidence in him, and he has a future in this organisation at the NHL level. Whereas McKenna I dont see in the clubs long term plans, so I dont see the use in him getting that many starts.

Lashoff is smooth like butter.

Skating, decision-making, passing, etc. Very good. He doesn't play in his own zone like he's had 15 Mountain Dews to drink, but he is very poised and is very good with his stick. And let's not forget, in the words of Kramer, POISE COUNTS!

There are far greater things to be down on the team about than Lashoff and Ramo.

Past 7 games the PP has been clicking at pretty much 33% (10 out of 29). That has to be good news if it goes into next year. Who is in charge of the PP, as at the beginning of the season it was awful and now isnt, was it Melrose then Tocc or someone else? But yeah whoever is responsible I hope they stick around.

Lashoff has the ability to be every bit as good as Ranger or Meszaros. He needs to progress and learn to play the body more in his own end, but Stevie Wonder could see the parallels.

I was worried when the deal was made whether the 2nd we threw in was worth it. But, just 4 games in, those doubts are gone. It was definitely worth it.

Or I don't just agree with everything that others say.
