Default 11/1 Tampa Bay @ Carolina

Tampa Bay Lightning(8-4-0) AT Carolina Hurricanes(4-5-3)
7PM, SunSports

With Connolly recalled this is how I want our forward lines to look:

Killorn-Stamkos-MSL
Connolly-Flip-Purcell
Palat-TJ-Panik
Crombeen-Thompson-Malone

Scratch: Labrie

Makes sense I guess.. Panik blew a couple chances last game and his plus minus isn't flattering (not that it's all him).

I can see why he deserves to sit but even when he's ineffective he's been more useful than Labrie. Especially against a team that isn't full of muggers and pests(Boston, Philly)

I think its the type of minutes, Connolly will take his place on the scoring lines. Although, honestly, I'd prefer to give Panik Labries bottom line minutes, he can play that style as well.

My take is that it is not just one person. I think SY is throwing Connolly into the mix to see who really wants to step it up and play.

Against this opponent, with Skinner out, I wouldn't mind playing 11 forwards and 7 D and giving Barberio another game of seasoning.

Edit: I see Barberio is in for Sustr and Connolly swaps with Labrie. I am good with that, too. Sustr was way too loose and free-wheeling against New Jersey.

My rationale is that, with Carolina's goalies all hurt and arguably their best offensive player (Skinner) hurt, if Barberio dumpster fires a goal or two, it shouldn't be as fatal as if he did that against a team like NJ or a better team like Detroit.

Who's in net? Do we go for the 2 points against a division foe with Bishop tonight or use him tomorrow at home against the Blues? I'd rather go for the points tonight and if Lindy gets us anything tomorrow it'll be gravy.
