Bummer. He was always a fixture after the game as you walked back to your car.

Are y’all sure it was the same guy at Bucs, Bolts and Rays games. That article only mentions the Rays.

Other articles mentioned the Bolts. Creative Loafing had a nice writeup as well.

The AAF folds after 8 games. Evidently Dundon just wanted the rights to the technology in their app and will sell off a lot of the bones of what’s left to the XFL.

I have no idea why the NFL hasn’t just started their own spring developmental league in medium sized cities.

They say no final paychecks, and they made the players fly themselves home. Stand up guy right there.

He had no intention of making it work, because if he did the ratings were good enough to iron out the kinks and eventually make it work. I thought the way they did regional allocations and gave salary cap breaks for taking players from colleges in a team's region was fairly clever for a spring league.

So newer reports is he isnt getting the technology, he is just a moron. Guess he thought running a sport would be easy, when it wasnt and he found out it was expensive, he tried to cut costs, which decreased functionality of the league, and he decided to call it. Boy what a time to be a canes fan.

Devin White with Josh Allen on the board.

hmmm....don't know enough to dislike the pick, but definitely more hype surrounding Allen

I think they wanted someone that can come in day 1 and take a leadership role on defense. White fits that. Lots of good edge rushers that should still be available in rounds 2 and 3.

Also read there will be “a lot” of 3/4 looks in the new D scheme and he fits that to a T.
