The largest newspaper in the state of Tennessee ran a full-page advertisement from a fringe religious group Sunday that cited the Bible and warned Nashville residents that a nuclear bomb will be set off by "Islam" next month. The ad also declared Donald Trump the "final president of the USA," as foreseen in the Christian Bible.

The pseudo-religious writing by the Ministry of Future for America issued the unfounded claim that on July 18, 2020, unnamed Islamic forces in association with Russia and other world powers will detonate a nuclear device in Nashville. Repeatedly citing "God's Word" and including a photo of Pope Francis in front of burning American flags, the group claimed Trump's battle with Democrats was prophesied in the Bible.

"We are under conviction to not only tell you but to provide evidence that on July 18, 2020, Islam is going to detonate a nuclear device in Nashville, Tennessee," the group's authors wrote in the ad. "Bible prophecy specifies that Donald Trump is the final president of the USA. President Trump has been typified by many biblical leaders and is marked in God's Word ... the intensity of division that is taking place between liberal and conservative Americans is manifested daily in the news."
They apologize AFTER the fact?? WTF?? Are the rubes there that stupid that they will prepare now and start constructing their underground bunkers?

Mornings like today make you want to stay in bed all day.

Someone hangs a noose in Bubba Wallace’s garage and the police are called out in Fairfield County, Ohio (just southeast of Columbus) to respond to a vandalism complaint for a 9 year old girl writing “Black Lives Matter” on the sidewalk in chalk.

The police are investigating the noose and they told the old biddy that made the complaint on the 9 year old to mind her own business.

Does Biden really want John Bolton’s endorsement?

He said in the ABC interview last night he was going to write-in a "conservative Republican" for President (and specifically said Trump wasn't one), so I don't think he's endorsing Biden.

A number of stories yesterday said that he was endorsing Biden.

Most have now been updated to say that he won’t be voting for either.

NO.

Bolton isn't much different from Trump; he's airing personal grievances and just wrote the book to monetize his butt hurt. If he was the "patriot" he claims to be these allegations would have come to light long ago.

THIS.
If he was so concerned by Herr Cheeto, he should have testified at the impeachment. The fact that he says in his book that there were a bunch of impeachable offenses and that Democrats should have cast a wider net and built a better case...thanks, and get fucked Mr. Moustache. Where were you when it mattered?

Too little, too late, you spineless, self aggrandizing Vichyite scumbag. There's gonna be quite a bit of this coming if Trump is defeated. Lot of rats trying to recast their "patriotism" trying to get off the sinking ship. Let them drown.

Trumps, soon to be fired campaign manager, says that they were not plunked by teenagers. He said that the event was general admission and they register attendees for future fundraising (the later I believe).

He said the reason people didn’t show was because the left wing media, especially MSNBC relentlessly described how dangerous it would be to attend due to the Coronavirus and dangerous protesters. Come on, asshole, how many Trump supporters are watching MSNBC?

It wasn't an endorsement so much as, in an interview, Bolton said he's voting for Biden because Trump's completely unfit for office, in his view. To paraphrase.

I don't for a second believe K-pop teenagers were the sole saboteurs of event attendance, although they probably did taint the crap out of their campaign's data collection for the two weeks leading up to it.

The most plausible rationales I can think of for the poor attendance was some combo of:

- Fear of COVID-19. IOW, at the end of the day, they are capable of recognizing a world of reality outside of the right wing media bubble.

This is a dangerous outcome for Trump, because it means he can't actually defy political gravity in a pandemic.

- Fear of protesters and Tha Antifa(!). IOW, amplified and unrealistic fears of urban dangers as exist mostly within the fantastical world of the right wing media bubble where urban areas like downtown Tulsa are perpetually on fire at the hands of looting hordes of eeeevil libruls and POC. Could imagine this was greatly the case among rural and exurban Trump supporters who didn't make the trip into Tulsa.

This is also dangerous for Trump, because it shows his voters feel like he's not actually capable of maintaining law and order and keeping them safe. And if his base doesn't believe, surely independents won't either. So the whole Nixon 1968 strategy ain't workin', if that's the case.

- Rising antipathy to Trump. I could see this particularly being the case for urban and suburban Republicans who may still hold their nose and vote for the clown, but they have no particular wish to attend his propaganda events.

This is obviously also not great for Trump.

The idea people didn't come because they were scared off by the high attendance figures (inflated by K-pop teenagers) being touted is undermined by their promotion of the outdoor overflow stage. If people really felt safe and/or motivated to attend the campaign had planned a festival-type atmosphere for those people.
