Yes there's a demo on all platforms, including PC. It even unlocks goodies in Mass Effect 3.

This is it. Tomorrow. Bioware Panel at PAX.

Or....they announce something right now. http://kotaku.com/5899373/free-mass-...re-this-summer

Bioware has announced that there will be free ending DLC that will "explain" and offer fans more "closure" by adding to the current ending. I have to imagine Doc Brown and Marty McFly will be included.

I may be in denial, but if that was the actual ending to the series they have more plot holes to fill in this DLC than....jeez just about any story I have read. We will know more tomorrow. Personally I'm curious to find out just how much crack was consumed in that writer's room.

I already traded in my ME3 so I'll just watch a playthrough video to see the changes

Beat ME3.. Still don't know what to make of the ending, but the ride was great.

It is either genius (check out that video), or one of the largest failures in the history of gaming.

What is everyone's stance on the portables out? Are they still needed or do you think smartphones will eventually fill that niche?

Sorry but for gaming I need my buttons. I have an Android and it's great and all for stupid cutesy stuff like Cut the Rope, but there's no REAL games on the thing, and the real ones that have been ported over control horribly with a touchscreen. On the other hand I've got a Vita and a 3DS and they're both great. Super Mario 3D Land is so much better than mobile crap like Canabalt it's not even funny, and where else can you play a fullblown hardcore title like Uncharted but on the Vita? I got hours of use out of both of them on a recent business trip and never even considered gaming on my phone for a second.

That said, millions of Angry Birds players disagree. But who cares? You can only make $1 a pop off of them. There's still a need to serve those of us willing to pay more for a more complete experience.

Ever since I picked up my first Pokemon game on the Gameboy color I have been a fan of handhelds. A phone is good for killing a few minutes but if you want to play for atleast a minimum of 30 minutes handheld consoles are the way to go.

It harkens back to the console-vs-pc argument. Console owners said pc gaming will die because consoles provide easier entry but pc gaming has been surging as of late.

That video makes it a lot more tolerable, but I have a hard time believing that. I suppose it's time we have a video game ending that actually sparks debate instead of being the perfect happy ending though. If that's not it I'm not sure what extending it with DLC will do to fill in all the stuff that makes no sense or hasn't been resolved. I think they got too enamored with the final choice and couldn't figure out how to make it all fit and so decided not to make it fit..

WARNING SPOILERS: I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this thread on BioWare forums.

Good summary of why it sucks.

Hoek, not sure what Android you have but if it's moderately powerful check out Dead Space in the Market...err...Google Play Store. That was the game that really made me start thinking that handhelds are going to go the way of the dinosaur.

I understand everyone's points, and I certainly agree that a dedicated gaming device is the only thing that offers a true console like experience on the go. But as phones get more powerful, I just don't see people wanting to carry 2 devices around. Look at the Vita, a beautiful piece of hardware, but I could never see myself carrying that in my pocket. My Android phone meanwhile is running a PS1 emulator, and if I ever want physical controls I could sync up a PS3 controller.

The true winner in mobile gaming will be whoever can figure out how to sync up your handheld with the console back home. Remotely boot up your console, play a title streaming over 4G, remotely shut it down.
