I don't know. Everyone was on the sideline like you would for a timeout, but they just spiked the ball so they would of had the normal 40 second play clock. I have no clue who called the offense to the sideline after the spike.

I'm more pissed at the awful playcalling in the second half.

Cairo Santos anyone?

Gay can mount his Schwinn and head off to a kicking camp.

Another wasted draft pick.

Arians explained afterward that they had zero intention of taking a shot into the endzone even with 13 seconds and a timeout left.

Then, he tried to justify/excuse the intentional delay of game penalty by pushing some bizarre claim that Gay is better from longer range, so he wanted to up the chances of him making the field goal. Mind you, he'd missed a XP and had one blocked from THE VERY SAME DISTANCE.

Byron Leftwich became the second coming of Dirk Koetter in that second half, taking his feet off the gas with boring, conservative playcalling. They had chances to go for the kill and instead got cute an played safe. "No risk it, no biscuit" my ass. Can't blame Jameis for this one.

Jason Licht got a five-year contract extension recently. Just incase you needed to feel sicker about this. (Or you could check to see who is leading the league in rushing and breaking countless ankles in the process).

How Evans and David haven't demanded a trade from this cursed franchise is beyond me.

Yep, and it was nice to see them not go so conservative this week. They got to figure out the pass defense though. Stewart and Hargreaves get exposed way too often. I hope the Bucs are willing to pay the price on Shaq Barrett after this season. What an absolute steal of a signing he has been.

So are the Bucs finally going to start moving on from Winston and draft a quarterback this year?

Likely, but not in the way most think (unless this keeps happening iin the final ten games). At worst they cut him. If he stays, it's on a one year franchise tag and not an extension, then they take a QB early on Day 2. I'm not a fan of that because unless you get a real prospect you're all but taking yourself out of the running/wasting a draft pick if you suck bad enough in 2020 to land Trevor Lawrence.

And whomever they get better be used to running for dear life behind the worst offensive line in football. Any fans expecting a sudden change and/or a savior need to accept that, though there are many who won't give a flying shit so long as it's anyone other than Jameis.

The Titians have moved on from Mariota, could Winston be that much further behind?

Possibly, though Bucs fans should thank their lucky stars that Jameis usually throws for 300-400 and a few scores with his multiple pick games. Marcus threw for 63 yards and two picks last week. Yikes.
