Default Wright back to WHL

Per a writer in B.C., Dhiren Mahiban.

EE was speculating this earlier today.

Good move, IMO. Very good.

I don't want to say it, but I would have rather this happened in October before the junior rookie limit.

Likely in Norfolk next season. He doesn't turn 20 until March 24th, so the Ads would have to make the AHL playoffs before we see Wright recalled to Norfolk this season.

Next season's forward roster could get a bit more crowded with the likes of Ashton, Harju, Tyrell, and maybe Panik making a run at the roster. Obviously, not all those guys are going to make it, but I expect Wright needs some physical seasoning in the AHL.

Agreed. The kid tried as hard as he could with his current size and talent. I see him as a future 3rd liner that we can sign to a cheap deal and get his best effort every night. Can't really argue with that.

James Wright scored a powerplay goal against the Seattle Thunderbirds.
